Final Walk-through

Upon completion of your project, and after the building department does their final inspection and signs off on the permit, we will do a final walk-through with you.
Using our “New Home Walk through Checklist,” which covers all areas of the home, we will go through the interior and inspect
- painting
- millwork and doors
- floor coverings
- light fixtures
- cabinetry
then go to the exterior and inspect
- siding and trim
- painting
- roofing and flashing
- landscaping and septic system, if applicable.
As we do the walk-through, we mark each area as either approved by owner, or note any corrections or touch-ups that need to be done.

Owner’s manual
We provide an owner’s manual with all homes we build. Our manual is fairly modest, but it covers all of the important specifications for your home with sections on maintenance, safety, warranty info, and operation.
We also include a list of all of the subcontractors and suppliers that worked on your home with phone numbers and addresses.
General one-year warranty on major components
Your satisfaction with our work is a high priority for us. We provide a limited warranty against material defects on all contractor and subcontractor-supplied labor and materials used in this project for a period of one year following substantial completion of all work.
